The Rolex service procedure is designed to ensure that every timepiece leaving a Rolex workshop complies with its original functional and aesthetic specifications.
The servicing of your Rolex watch includes the disassembly and cleaning of the movement, replacement of certain components, lubrication, and finally timing calibrations. Next, the case and bracelet of your watch is meticulously refinished and ultrasonically cleaned to restore its luster. The watch is then reassembled and rigorously tested to insure it meets the water resistance requirements you naturally expect from a Rolex watch.
Finally, during the final quality check, the power reserve, timing accuracy and aesthetic appearance of your watch are verified one last time to guarantee the highest possible standard of quality.
After a complete service, your Rolex is covered by a two-year international service guarantee.
After a service, it is important to wind your watch manually before wearing it for the first time. To do this, unscrew the crown to the winding position and turn it clockwise approximately 30 times. Please remember to screw the crown fully to its original position against the case to ensure water resistance.
